Quaytin was selected for the student of the month due to his progress academically and socially over the past year. He has gone from having most of his academics delivered in a separate one-to-one setting, to attending rotations in his classroom setting with peers. Our staff of the month for December is Ms. Gibson! Ms. Gibson is one of our social workers and our Fun Friday coordinator. High Road School of Wallingford High School barber shop has official open and been named the Hornet’s Lounge! On October 23rd and 24th barbers Sheldon and Jayson visited from their shop “Cutting Edge” to give students free haircuts. Before opening their shop in Bridgeport, they had experience working at another school in New York similar to High Road where they would also volunteer and give haircuts.
