Transition Planning for Life Beyond School

Our Transition Program provides support for students as they transition from high school to post-high school with regards to college and career training. Our transition coordinator develops partnerships in line with student interest, including culinary internships at local restaurants, cosmetology internships at local barber shops and hair salons, and landscaping internships with a landscaping business. The transition coordinator facilitates the culinary program within the school where a local chef comes in 4 days a week to teach cooking skills and food safety to students as they prepare the meal for the school.
