Quaytin was selected for the student of the month due to his progress academically and socially over the past year. He has gone from having most of his academics delivered in a separate one-to-one setting, to attending rotations in his classroom setting with peers. He has also improved his behaviors dramatically and is now on blue level of our system- the second-highest level! He was even able to attend a Fun Friday trip to go roller skating for the first time- which he was very excited for!
Mr. Berardesca, Operations Manager, praises Quaytin’s progress saying “Quaytin has shown tremendous growth this year. He attends rotations with peers and completes work assignments. He has been on a consistently high level within the school’s behavior model and has even attended school field trips, which was something that he had never accomplished in the past.” Ms. Gibson, Quaytin’s Social Worker, is also proud of his accomplishments, saying “Over the past two years Q has grown in so many ways! I am so incredibly proud of him and his ability to complete his academics and interact so well with his peers and staff. His sense of humor and the ability to adapt to various situations is amazing. I am so excited to continue to watch him grow into the amazing man I know he will be”. Great work Quaytin and congratulations and being named Student of the Month!
