Building Connections, One Marshmallow at a Time!
At High Road School of Windham, community-building time is more than just an activity, it’s a cornerstone of fostering positive social skills and teamwork among our students. Each day, our students come together to engage in hands-on, collaborative challenges that spark creativity, encourage communication, and build lasting connections.
Recently, our students tackled an exciting activity: constructing structures using marshmallows and toothpicks. From towering skyscrapers to intricate geometric designs, the room buzzed with positivity, problem-solving, and a sense of accomplishment.
These activities not only fuel creativity but also help students develop essential life skills such as patience, collaboration, and resilience. At High Road School of Windham, we believe that learning happens best when students feel connected, supported, and excited to engage with one another.
