Local students with special needs prepared last Friday for the upcoming Region B Spring Games held by Special Olympics Illinois. The Spring Games will take place later in April at Prospect High School. Students at High Road School of Mount Prospect, 580 Slawin Court, have been working tirelessly, showing remarkable dedication and enthusiasm for the Special Olympics. KINGSTON — Light It Up Blue, an annual autism-awareness event, has grown into a fun community celebration this year, featuring live bands, food trucks and vendors on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. High Road School is filling a need for families of special needs children (grades K-12) in Marion County, according to school officials.Located on the campus of Pleasant Local Schools, 1101 Owens Road W., High Road School of Marion County opened its doors in January 2023 and local families have responded positively.
