This October our Elementary student of the month is Gerald Wilson-Branch. Gerald is a very hard-working 4th grade student in Ms. Kavney’s class here at High Road Lower School. This month Gerald has displayed model Blue level behavior. He is always willing to answer questions in class, he finishes his assignments on time and he works diligently to make the best grades possible. Gerald also volunteers to help his peers and his teachers whenever he gets the chance.

Gerald continues to impress our staff with his positive attitude and dedication to learning on a daily basis. Our behavior specialist Ms. Carter was excited to tell us that “Gerald is one of the most genuine students we have- he is always willing to lend a helping hand no matter who is asking!” It’s pretty easy to see why Gerald has been voted student of the month for October, and we are all ecstatic to see how much more progress he makes this school year.

This month Gerald has improved his ability to ignore negative peer behaviors, and has done a wonderful job at regulating his emotions in class. Gerald is proud of his ability to ignore and stay on task, and he is looking forward to keeping it up and working towards Silver Level.
