At Sierra School of Gilbert, we are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our students as they prepare for life beyond the classroom. Recently, David, one of our high school students, earned his official Food Handler Card in preparation for his new after-school job.

This achievement is part of our Vocational Skills Training program, where students gain the hands-on experience and certifications needed to be both employable and successful in their communities. By practicing workplace skills and earning credentials, students like David build confidence and independence that will serve them well in future careers.

We are so proud of David’s hard work and dedication. His success is an excellent example of how Sierra School of Gilbert empowers students with autism and other special needs to thrive both in school and beyond.
