Community Celebration at Northwest Center for Autism

Students Participate in World Autism Month Activities
Students at Northwest Center for Autism took part in activities that highlighted community during World Autism Month.
As part of a community outreach effort, students prepared and distributed goodie bags to the school’s transportation partners. The gesture offered a simple and kind way to recognize the important role these individuals play in supporting students each day.
A Community Celebration of Unity and Inclusion
To mark World Autism Month, students and staff also participated in a rainbow walk. Each classroom was assigned a different color, and as the group walked together, the display created a visual representation of unity and acceptance across the school.
These moments provided students with opportunities to engage with their broader community while reinforcing messages of appreciation and inclusion.
