BEST Academy Field Day Brings Learning to Life

Learning and Teamwork at BEST Academy Field Day
B.E.S.T. Academy wrapped up the school year with an exciting Survivor-themed field day event, thoughtfully planned by our OT and BCBA. The day was filled with fun, movement, teamwork, and creativity as classrooms rotated through a variety of engaging stations designed to build social skills, motor skills, and cooperative play.
Showing Team Spirit
To kick off the event, each classroom received a bandana in its classroom color, helping students show their team spirit throughout the day. As they moved from station to station, students had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities that encouraged both fun and learning.
Creative and Engaging Activities
One station invited each classroom to decorate a team flag, giving students a chance to work together and show off their creativity. At the sensory station, students explored sensory bins, enjoyed bubbles, and created with chalk.
Additionally, favorite activities included an obstacle course, a scavenger hunt where students followed clues to earn a medal, a dance party, and a block rotation that encouraged collaboration and imaginative play.
A Sweet End to the School Year
After the excitement of Field Day fun, students cooled down and celebrated with ice cream sundaes, making for a sweet ending to a wonderful event. Our end-of-year Field Day was a great success. It was a memorable way to celebrate our students, their teamwork, and their accomplishments. Thank you to our staff for creating such a meaningful and fun experience for everyone involved!
