B.E.S.T. Academy Student Spotlight: Celebrating A’suantae’s Growth

Since starting at B.E.S.T. Academy, A’suantae has worked hard to make meaningful progress in many areas of his school day. At the beginning of his journey, he experienced challenges with attending to academics, completing classroom tasks, and interacting safely with peers. With support from staff and consistent encouragement, A’suantae has shown wonderful growth that deserves to be celebrated.

Student Spotlight: Progress in the Classroom

Over time, our team has seen improvement in A’suantae’s ability to ask for breaks when needed. He has also made progress in safely navigating the classroom and school building. His participation in group activities with adult support has improved as well. These are important accomplishments, and we are so proud of the effort he has put into reaching them. A’suantae has also built strong relationships with staff, which has helped him continue to grow in confidence and engagement throughout the school day. He is working hard on attending to his academics and continues to make progress each day.

One of his favorite activities is playing catch with staff, and he especially enjoys throwing and catching a ball. He also participates in electives with adult support and particularly enjoys gym and being outside. This student spotlight and being named Student of the Month is a reflection of A’suantae’s hard work, growth, and the positive steps he has made. We are excited to continue supporting him and celebrating his success.
