He learned about the many programs available to students, including culinary arts, the P.O.U.R. Me Project (arts), music engineering, CNA certification, EMR training, and the Illinois Youth Investment Program, which provides student job placement opportunities.

Senator Preston also shared insights on upcoming initiatives and explored potential partnerships between Excel Englewood and other high schools in the 16th District.
