NewHope Academy Students Boogie Down at Prom
A 70s Themed Celebration
Students at NewHope Academy stepped back in time for an afternoon of dancing during the school’s 70s-themed prom.
Juniors and seniors embraced the theme with colorful outfits and retro-inspired style as they celebrated together on the dance floor.
NewHope Academy Celebrates a Memorable Prom
Before the dancing began, students shared a meal featuring favorites from Olive Garden. The celebration also included awards and special moments that recognized students and encouraged everyone to join in the fun.
“Prom gave our students an opportunity to celebrate together and create lasting memories,” said Bethany Arteaga, principal of NewHope Academy. “It was wonderful to see their excitement.”
Creating Lasting Memories Together
The event reflected the importance of creating opportunities for students to connect socially, celebrate milestones, and enjoy shared experiences with their peers. From the music to the decorations, the afternoon captured the spirit of the 1970s while giving students a memorable way to close out the school year together.
