Field Trip to the Travis Air Force Base Aviation Museum

Students Explore Travis Air Force Base Aviation Museum

Room 3 students at Sierra School of Solano County had a field trip to the Travis Air Force Base Aviation Museum. Students were able to see flight exhibits during different periods in history, including WWII, the Cold War, Modern Flight, and Space Exploration. They were also given a tour of the armory and were able to explore different military vehicles, including an armored truck and an MRZR. The field trip was a class-chosen reward for completing a book report.
