Thanksgiving Giving Back at High Road School of Nashville

A Commitment to Community During Thanksgiving
Giving back has always been a core value at High Road School of Nashville. This Thanksgiving, the school set out to make a positive impact by helping families enjoy a warm, complete holiday meal. The initiative reflected the staff’s shared belief that small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
Partnering With Local Businesses to Support Families
Tyjuan Garth, Associate Director, led the effort by partnering with several local businesses, including Ollie Lifestyle LLC, Fade Doc Barbershop, Chiffon Rose Décor, and Dalamar Real Estate. Through these partnerships, the school was able to donate Thanksgiving meals to 100 families within the school community.
Each meal included a turkey, stuffing, vegetables, and rolls, carefully packaged and prepared for delivery. This ensures families have everything they need for a traditional Thanksgiving celebration.
Staff Coming Together to Deliver Thanksgiving Meals
On Saturday, November 22, members of the High Road School of Nashville staff team came together to assemble and personally deliver the meals to students and their families. Staff members filled the day with teamwork, gratitude, and pride as they connected with families and shared in the spirit of the holiday.
Creating a Happier Thanksgiving for 100 Families
The impact of the initiative was felt throughout the community. Gentry Campbell, Director of High Road School of Nashville, shared, “There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that 100 additional families will be having a happier Thanksgiving this year.”
Staff members worked together with gratitude and pride, connecting with families and sharing in the spirit of the holiday.
