Student Highlight: Stephen

Steven has shown incredible growth in his graphic design skills here at High Road School of Harford County, and we’re proud to showcase a few of his recent projects that reflect both his technical abilities and artistic vision.

In one piece, Steven created a dynamic cartoon-style scene of a rocket launching into space. With swirling smoke, twinkling stars, a satellite, and a planet encircled by a ring, the design captures a sense of energy and adventure.

Another striking design features a silhouette of a person standing atop a mountain, set against a serene landscape of layered trees, rolling hills, and a setting sun. The warm, earthy tones and thoughtful composition give the piece a feeling of peace and reflection.

In a beautifully crafted winter scene, Steven demonstrates his eye for detail and mood. Snow-covered trees, gentle hills, and a calm blue palette evoke the quiet beauty of a snowy day, showcasing his ability to create atmosphere and seasonal tone through color and shape.

Finally, Steven’s design featuring a Captain America shield is bold and iconic. With attention to detail in highlights and shadows, it shows his understanding of light, depth, and how to create atmosphere within a scene.

Each of these projects demonstrates Steven’s growing talent and confidence as a designer. We’re excited to see where his creativity takes him next!
