High Road Student Becomes Published Author

For the last few years, High Road School of Wright City has taken part in the Young Writers mini-saga competitions. This past year, the theme was Integer – Stories Inspired by Numbers. Several High Road students wrote and submitted short stories. One of those students was Isabella (“Izzy”), a member of the Spark program at High Road School of Wright City.

Recognition for Izzy’s Creative Writing

At the beginning of October, Izzy received exciting news. A letter told her that her story was selected for publication in Integer – The Language of Numbers. She felt thrilled and proud of her work.

Soon after, Izzy received a Talent for Writing certificate from Young Writers. She showed it to everyone because she wanted to share her accomplishment. Her class also celebrated the achievement with a fun pizza party. In addition, her story will appear in the published book at the end of this year.

A Proud Moment for High Road School

High Road School of Wright City is very proud of Izzy. She worked hard on her story, stayed committed, and reached an amazing milestone as a published author.

Great work, Izzy!
