Staff Spotlight: Mr. Kye Pabon
Mr. Kye kicked off the school year with outstanding energy and enthusiasm, starting right from Beginning of Year training. Watching him connect with new hires and quickly build rapport with his classroom team has been genuinely inspiring.
He asks thoughtful questions to clarify expectations, offers constructive suggestions to leadership, and welcomes feedback with humility.
Leading With Professionalism and Positivity
Kye consistently models how students and staff should carry themselves, leading with professionalism, positivity, and pride in his work.
His willingness to collaborate, communicate, and support those around him makes a meaningful difference within the High Road School of Southern Delaware community. Our school is stronger because of the example he sets every day.
Student Spotlight: Ira B.
Ira B. was selected as Student of the Month for consistently demonstrating growth, responsibility, kindness, and a positive attitude since the very beginning of the school year.
He makes an effort to greet others whenever he enters a room and has shown that he genuinely cares about the feelings and well-being of those around him. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to both his peers and staff and continues to be a positive presence within our school community.
Showing Growth and Using Positive Coping Skills
Since the first day of school, Ira has also done an excellent job recognizing when he needs support and appropriately using his coping skills.
He continues to make positive choices, work through challenging moments, and show growth each day.
Leading by Example
His kindness, helpfulness, respect for others, and ability to lead by example make him a wonderful role model for his peers.
Ira’s hard work and positive character have not gone unnoticed, and we are proud to recognize him as our Student of the Month at High Road School of Southern Delaware.
