Special Olympics Spring Games took place on Sunday, April 16th, at Prospect High School in Mount Prospect. High Road School had 6 athletes compete in either the 50 Meter Dash, 100 Meter Dash, Softball Throw, or Mini-Javelin Throw. Diego Torres, Bryan Lopez, Bryce Watts, and Alex Arroyo all placed 1st in their running event, qualifying them for the State Summer Games in June at Illinois State University. Richard Arceo placed 3rd in his event. Due to the weather, the rest of the running and throwing events were canceled. Peter Fleming was unable to compete in his running event due to the cancellation.

Outside of Spring Games Track and Field, High Road School also participates in basketball, soccer, snowshoeing, and bowling for Special Olympics throughout the year.
