High Road School of Wright City Hosts Food Fundraiser to Support Local Families

High Road Wright City Food Fundraiser Supports Families in Need
At a time when many families in Wright City are feeling the strain of rising grocery costs and the temporary expiration of SNAP benefits, High Road School of Wright City students and team members stepped forward in a meaningful way. The 2025 Food Fundraiser brought in over $250 to provide direct support to neighbors who need it most.
Community Partnerships Strengthen the Food Fundraiser Impact
The school is partnering with the Wright City Community Food Pantry to turn the donations into food boxes for families throughout the area. School leaders also plan to identify and support two students within the school who may benefit from extra assistance.
Students and Staff Unite With Purpose During the Fundraiser
“Our students, teachers, and staff have united with a shared purpose: to help families who are feeling the burden of rising costs and limited resources,” said 2025 Teacher of the Year Campus winner Casey Hutchison.
