High Road School of Hoffman Estates celebrated Fall Fest on Friday, October 16. The annual tradition brought students and staff together for a day of autumn activities and schoolwide connection. Students across all levels, including Level 1 through Lions, participated in the celebration.

Preparing the Pumpkin Patch for Fall Fest

The excitement began before the event when students and staff from the transition classroom visited Goebbert’s Farm. During the outing, transition students selected pumpkins and worked together to load them into school vehicles. Back at High Road School of Hoffman Estates, they unloaded and arranged the pumpkins across the field next to the building. Their teamwork transformed the space into a festive pumpkin patch for the entire school to enjoy.

Pumpkin Picking, Decorating and Fall Fun

On Friday, students headed outdoors to explore the pumpkin patch and select their own pumpkins to take home. The festivities continued during Fun Friday, when students decorated their pumpkins and expressed their creativity through colorful designs. Everyone also enjoyed cookies and apple juice as part of the celebration. With teamwork, creativity, and seasonal activities, this year’s Fall Fest brought memorable experiences to the High Road School of Hoffman Estates community.
