Celebrating Success: Excel Roseland’s First Semester Awards + Luncheon

Just before winter break, Excel Roseland, part of the Chicago Public Schools’ Options Network, celebrated the first semester awards assembly and holiday luncheon. This event recognized students’ achievements in academics and attendance.
During the awards ceremony, students were acknowledged for honor roll, high honor roll, and principal honor roll. Two students, one male and one female, were recognized as the most improved students of the semester.

Students also recognized staff through votes for various superlatives. Mr. Adams was honored as staff member of the semester, known for his dependability, approachability, and supportive feedback. Students praised his humor and personable nature.
