Accelerated Instructional Programs
Creating the Path to Graduation
To impact a student’s academic progress, social-emotional needs must first be addressed. Students in our standalone alternative education schools and in-district classrooms receive the extra academic, behavioral, and special education supports they need, so they’re able to fully engage in school and achieve the success they deserve in all facets of life.
Our Accelerated Instructional Programs offer effective and impactful educational approaches that give even the most disconnected students an opportunity to re-engage in school. Through our Accelerated programs, over-age and under-credited students – those at the highest risk of dropping out of school – are afforded the ability to catch up on their academic work in order to achieve grade-level promotion and graduation.
Giving students a unique option to complete the path to graduation
Accelerated Instructional Programs serve middle school and high school students who:
- are behind in credit accumulation or grade level,
- risk not advancing with their cohort, or
- risk not advancing to or graduating from high school on time or at all.
Key program features include:
- Credit acquisition
- Grade-level promotion
- Volunteer and community service
- Senior project portfolios
- Graduation
- Post-secondary preparation
Accelerated Instructional Programs
Empowering students to take charge of their education
Disconnected middle school and high school students deserve the opportunity to re-engage in school so they can achieve their goals and dreams. Through an Accelerated Instructional Program that uses proven, effective, and impactful educational programs, these students succeed on many levels – including significantly improved academics, upward progression, and high school graduation.
When students are comfortable in the learning environment and are confident putting trust in their teachers, they feel empowered to take charge of their education and future. To ensure this comfort level and trust, we build meaningful relationships, so that educators can clearly understand the individual needs, strengths, and challenges of each student. Once that foundation is built, our students receive the care, counseling, and support they need to address the significant challenges they face outside of school.
