High Road School of Mt. Healthy Opens New Building to Support Student Success

High Road School of Mt. Healthy Celebrates Move to New Building
After nearly four years of operating out of an administrative office, High Road School of Mt. Healthy now has a building to truly call its own. The newly opened 40,000-square-foot campus is already making a difference for students and staff, bringing energy, opportunities, and a renewed sense of pride.
A Space Full of Possibilities
School Director Steve Dishon explained that the larger, dedicated space opens the door to “new possibilities.” He has already noticed positive changes in students after just one week. Classrooms, hallways, and shared areas now provide the room needed for learning and growth.
Student Success at the Center
Regional Director Anna Boggs emphasized how important the new environment is for students who face challenges in traditional classrooms. In addition, the school provides small class sizes, counseling, and one-on-one support. Teachers focus on meeting each student where they are, whether they need extra social-emotional help or specialized academic services.
Preparing High Road School of Mt. Healthy Students for the Future
The school also offers life skills training. Students practice simple but essential tasks such as making a bed or learning how to interact in social situations. These lessons prepare them for independence and the next steps in life.
