Matt Rivers – School Director
Matt Rivers has worked in the field of special education for 25 years. He has held several special education positions, including teacher, coordinator and director of special education at alternative schools throughout Pennsylvania. He currently works at HRS of Philadelphia where he has served as program director since January 2020. Matt has worked at HRS of Philadelphia since it opened its doors in Fall of 2014. Matt holds a Master’s in Education with a Special Education certification from Arcadia University. He is also an alumnus of the University of Oregon, with a bachelor’s degree in Geography.
Jeannie Nutter – Director of Special Education
Jeannie Nutter has dedicated the past eight years of her career to Camelot/Sesi, starting with a background in psychology. Initially serving as a Math Teacher, Jeannie’s passion for health sciences led her to teach PE and Health, leveraging her background in powerlifting and numerous training and health certifications. Transitioning to teaching Science, she found even more fulfillment and was later promoted to Academic Coordinator while pursuing her Special Education certification.
Her personalized approach to student care fosters an environment where students feel supported, breaking down barriers to learning. As a product of growing up in Philadelphia, her drive to help the community starts in classrooms, and goes beyond to volunteer work in the community. She strongly leans on her desire to build the community she’s been part of, by pouring into students and meeting their needs. Despite challenges, Jeannie remains committed to supporting urban area students’ success, offering every opportunity to navigate the education landscape.
Waverly Harris- Director of Operations
Mr. Harris has been employed with SESI since 2015. While working with SESI he has held various leadership roles in different programs across Philadelphia, including AEDY, Autistic support and full-time emotional support. Mr. Harris earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology, while playing football at East Stroudsburg University. He earned his master’s degree in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University. Mr. Harris is very culture-oriented and looks to strengthen the inner-city urban community academia.
