With smaller class sizes than traditional schools can provide, our therapeutic classrooms help young students discover their untapped potential for thriving academically by helping them overcome social and behavioral challenges. Our school helps students improve attendance rates, gain access to community resource, demonstrate growth in reading and math, earn field trips and other incentives, and begin to enjoy going to school every day.

Based on nurturing a positive peer culture and academic rigor, KAPS Academy of Escambia County utilizes a research-based behavioral modification model that cultivates pro-social behaviors and leadership skills through early interventions and tangible rewards. Our students learn to embrace personal accountability for behavioral and academic success in a positive environment that values safety, respect, teamwork, and high standards.

By building strong relationships with each student, we are able to identify their unique strengths and provide data-driven individualized instruction and progress monitoring. KAPS Academy of Escambia helps students shine in the classroom, at home, and in their communities.
