Caring Champions: Staff and Student of the Month

Celebrating High Road School Staff and Student of the Month
At High Road School of Massachusetts, we believe that small acts of kindness create big waves of positivity throughout our community. Each month, staff and students vote for peers and teachers who best embody our core expectations. These include being considerate, accountable, safe, and engaged. These qualities are at the heart of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program
October’s Caring Champions Recognized for Kindness
In October, our team proudly recognized Ms. Bonhomme, classroom teacher, and Izzy M., an outstanding eighth grader, as our Most Considerate Staff Member and Student of the Month!
Known for greeting students with a welcoming smile and listening with compassion, Ms. Bonhomme creates a classroom where every student feels safe, heard, and respected. She fosters a calm and inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.
“Ms. Bonhomme always makes sure no one feels left out and checks in with us when we need support,” shared one student.
Izzy M. Leading with Kindness and Heart
Every day, Izzy M. demonstrates what it means to be considerate. Whether she’s helping classmates with their work or offering a kind word to someone who needs it, her positive attitude and genuine care make her a natural leader and friend to all.
“Izzy’s the first person to welcome someone new or lend a hand when anyone needs it,” said Ms. Bonhomme.
Ultimately, the High Road community thrives when we celebrate those who lead through kindness and respect. Therefore we ask that you join us in applauding Ms. Bonhomme and Izzy! Their actions remind us that a caring school environment starts with each one of us.
