Tucker Shines with Growth and Confidence

Tucker’s Growth This School Year

With a new school year upon us, Tucker has shown great improvement and the ability to transition from one classroom to another. Tucker has maintained safety in his new classroom environment with unfamiliar staff, students, and scheduling.

Tucker regularly uses previously learned skills and coping strategies when upset. In the past, Tucker had difficulty working with unfamiliar staff. However, Tucker has taken feedback from new staff to help him regulate and continue his path to success.

Building Confidence and Connection

Tucker has made new friends in his classroom and continues to engage in positive social interactions. He works to improve his academic skills by participating in non-preferred tasks and increasing his amount of written work. Tucker’s focus and determination have led to growth in all aspects of academics, behavior, and social/emotional skills.

With these wonderful areas of improvement, Tucker is recognized as our Student Spotlight for October! Tucker shines by being open to change, using his learned strategies, improving in academic skills, and openly communicating about his emotions.
