PAW-Some News: Student Artwork at The Graham Academy

The Graham Academy is proud to celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of its talented student artists, whose work was recently featured in Perfect Pets, a book showcasing student illustrations inspired by animals and pets.
Vivian Strickland Featured on the Book Cover
Among many outstanding contributions, Vivian Strickland was recently selected as the best artist in the Perfect Pets book. As a result, she was selected to appear on the book cover. This recognition highlights Vivian’s creativity, and her teachers shared how proud they are to see her talent recognized in such a meaningful way.
In addition to Vivian, 30 other Graham Academy students had their artwork published in the Perfect Pets book.
Why This Student Artwork Recognition Matters
“This accomplishment is meaningful beyond the artwork itself,” said Carol McGrane, regional director, The Graham Academy. “It celebrates individuality, builds confidence, and encourages students to share their talents with others. For many students, opportunities like this foster perseverance, self-esteem, and a sense of pride that extends well beyond the classroom.”
A School Culture That Supports Creativity
These successes also reflect the supportive environment at The Graham Academy. It’s one that values creativity, recognizes strengths, and celebrates student growth. They are made possible through the dedication of educators who nurture artistic expression and families who encourage and support their children every step of the way.
Congratulations to the student artists. We are proud of your achievements and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate your creativity.
