The High Road School of Darien is dedicated to helping elementary school-aged students with autism and behavioral challenges, grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Rico’s journey is a testament to that commitment. Earlier this school year, 6-year-old Rico arrived as a nonverbal, overwhelmed first-grader.
