High Road School of Wallingford Celebrates Class of 2025

On a bright and sunny June morning, the High Road School of Wallingford held its 8th-grade promotion and high school graduation. Seven students earned their high school diplomas or celebrated the transition into the fifth-year program.
The celebration began with a processional walkout and the National Anthem.
Students Junior and Kamrean shared the welcome address, thanking everyone who contributed to student success. They were followed by remarks from Education Director Christine Hartwich and a touching rose ceremony speech from Ms. Townes. This special tradition gives each graduate the opportunity to present a rose to the person who inspired them the most throughout their educational journey.
Eighth-grade students received their certificate of promotion from Ms. Shannon. A fifth-year student was recognized with his yearly completion certificate, and high school graduates proudly received their diplomas. Of course, the turning of the tassel was acknowledged and celebrated.
Two district representatives joined the school community to share in the momentous occasion. After the ceremony, students exited to music and celebrated with their families over lunch. They also captured lasting memories with the help of a photo booth.
The celebratory day was made possible by the school’s dedicated staff, who worked hard on programming, gown fitting, certificate making, music and live stream directing, decorations, and more!
Congratulations to the class of 2025!
