High Road School of Wright City Students Enjoy Fall Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

High Road School of Wright City Step 4 students recently visited a local pumpkin patch for a day of fall activities and time together outside of the classroom. The community field trip served as a reward for students who demonstrated positive behavior and worked hard to reach their goals.

Students put their problem-solving skills to work in a winding corn maze, helping one another find their way through the paths. They also fed and observed animals, getting an up-close look at life on a working farm.
Other activities included games, a barrel train ride, and a tractor ride around the farm. Students encouraged their classmates and enjoyed the chance to spend time together away from their regular school routine.
School Director Gregg Hulsey said the outing was a chance for students to put the skills they practice at school to use in the community.
“We are incredibly proud of our Step 4 students for representing our school so well and demonstrating positive behavior throughout the trip,” said Hulsey. “We look forward to many more educational and engaging community experiences throughout the school year.”
