Friday Pick-Me-Up Cart Brings Smiles to Wright City Staff

Fridays are a little brighter at High Road School of Wright City thanks to the Pick-Me-Up Cart. This weekly tradition gives staff members a fun and thoughtful way to finish the week on a positive note.

Each Friday, the cart rolls through with a changing selection of treats. Staff have enjoyed dirty sodas, Crumbl cookies, breakfast favorites, chips, candy, and other surprises. The excitement surrounding each visit shows how much a small gesture of appreciation can mean during a busy school day.

Pick-Me-Up Cart Recognizes Staff Each Friday

“The Pick-Me-Up Cart helps staff feel recognized and valued for the energy and dedication they bring to the school community,” said Gregg Hulsey, school director. “It also creates opportunities for coworkers to connect and enjoy a moment together.”

High Road School of Wright City is a private day school providing specialized K-12 education and individualized support plans for students whose emotional, behavioral, or special needs are not met in traditional classrooms.
