High Road Hartford Teacher Honored Nationally
High Road School of Hartford Celebrates Teacher of the Year Recognition
High Road School of Hartford is celebrating a major achievement after high school special education teacher Antonela Qyra earned a national Hartford teacher honor as Specialized Education Services Inc.’s (SESI) 2026 Teacher of the Year.
The recognition highlights Qyra’s dedication to helping students strengthen literacy skills while creating engaging and supportive classroom experiences. Her work has helped encourage student growth, participation, and confidence throughout the school community.
Qyra was selected from educators across more than 100 SESI schools and programs nationwide, reflecting the powerful impact passionate educators can have on students and families every day.
