Student Spotlight at High Road School of Bucyrus: Wyatt

This student spotlight highlights Wyatt as our April Student of the Month. Wyatt is such a joy to have in class! Wyatt has made vast improvements this school year. He has become more independent with his academics. Wyatt will follow instructions while staying in his seat and on task.

I am so proud of his writing skills. He has shown much growth in writing sentences using correct spacing and grammar. Wyatt has been communicating more with ALS to tell staff his wants and needs, something he didn’t do as much at the beginning of the year. Typically, he tells us that he would like to golf, bowl, or play on the iPad.

Behaviorally, Wyatt does a great job working through his emotions if he’s upset. He may get frustrated at times, but he uses his calming strategies to work through those feelings.

At High Road School of Bucyrus, we are very proud of Wyatt for everything he has accomplished this month.
