High Road School of Marion County Moves to New Facility
A New Home for High Road School of Marion County
The High Road School of Marion County is proud to announce our move to a newly renovated facility right here in Marion. While we remain committed to serving the same community, our new location at 1563 Marion Mt. Gilead Road, Marion, OH 43302, provides a larger, more modern space. Our team designed these spaces to better support the needs of our students and staff.
Our school is located in the back of the Forum building, offering a welcoming and comfortable environment for learning and collaboration.
Expanded Classroom Space for Student Learning
Our new facility features eight classrooms, with six currently in use and additional space ready for future expansion. Each classroom includes shared pull-out spaces designed specifically for DTT, ABA, Life Skills instruction, and Related Services. This allows our team to provide individualized support in dedicated learning environments.
Beyond the classrooms, the building includes a variety of spaces created to support both student development and staff collaboration. Students benefit from two sensory rooms and a gross motor room, while our cafeteria provides a comfortable space for meals and community-building. Staff and visitors also have access to two conference rooms and several administrative offices that help support the daily operations of our school.
A Welcoming Environment for Families and Partners
When visitors arrive, a coffee and beverage bar welcomes them, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for meetings, tours, and collaboration with families and district partners.
Every detail of the new facility has been thoughtfully prepared. This includes all brand-new furniture and supplies resulting in a fresh and engaging learning environment for our students. This move represents an exciting step forward for the High Road School of Marion County. We plan to be here for the long haul, continuing our mission of providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive school community. The type of community where every student can learn, grow, and succeed.
