I like the life skills applications for daily living. I like the garden and community volunteering. I enjoy getting the daily progress notes for how my kids are doing. I also like the respect of the school. The school calls and states and activity and asks if that is still okay with me as the parent. This school setting helps my children in so many ways. The kids love the huge blue chains and earning their reward for Friday. It shows working hard to reach a goal and sticking to it until the end. It also teaches them patience and not instant self-gratification.

The structure of the CASE approach and the predictability of the routine, as well as knowing exactly what is expected of him each hour of the day, has been very beneficial for my child. Sierra School also does an amazing job of incentivizing and rewarding appropriate behavior in order to keep him motivated to grow and do his best every day.

I like the fact that staff and teachers are all well and professionally trained to accommodate each individual student’s needs.
