Ms. Nancy, Teacher & Superhero
Special Education Teacher Nancy Richards noticed during pre-assessments this year that some of her students had trouble reading the ends of words such as the mp in BUMP. So she dressed up as a superhero and taught reading using comic books. They looked at words such as BAM, BUMP, POW. She also taught them that when superheroes talk in comic books, their words, or dialogue, are in bubbles. Learn more about our school today.
