Women’s Empowerment Luncheon

Thunderbolt Academy held our First Annual Women's Empowerment Luncheon on March 29th.  Mrs. Powell, one of our school social workers, did an amazing job putting together this powerful event for our Thunderbolt ladies.  We invited three guest speakers: Judge Todd, Denise Powell and Janay Harden who each spoke words of encouragement and guidance to our female students. Seashore Leadership Academy Back to School Night

Seashore Leadership Academy hosted a Back to School Night at Kelsey's, a historical soul food restaurant in Atlantic City.  Our staff members, students, parents, Atlantic City school administrators, and the Honorable Mayor of Atlantic City, Mr. Marty Small Sr., were in attendance. Mayor Small addressed the crowd with a heartfelt motivational speech and stayed for dinner.  Students and parents enjoyed the opportunity to speak with staff regarding their student's progress and win door prizes.
