Introducing the TA Program

Our High School teachers, alongside Associate Director Stephanie Dandos, have launched an exciting new initiative to incentivize our students: the Teaching Assistant (TA) Program. This program offers students the opportunity to take on leadership roles by supporting younger peers, assisting in classrooms, and helping others.

To qualify, students must demonstrate qualities such as responsibility, accountability, safety, and engagement in their own classrooms. Once eligible, they complete an application process that includes filling out forms at home, securing parental consent, writing a resume, dressing professionally, and participating in an interview. Afterward, students are assigned their roles and begin their work.

Real-World Impact in Just Three Weeks

Now in its third week, the TA Program is already showing remarkable results. Students have displayed incredible initiative and empathy one student even took a younger peer on a walk through the halls to offer them a break, while another helped distribute materials and read a story to the class. Yet another student shared their holiday traditions during a lesson, enriching the classroom experience for everyone.

Building Skills and Leadership for the Future

Thanks to the innovative leadership of Stephanie Dandos and the High School team, our students are not only developing valuable skills but also demonstrating true leadership within our school community.
