Before High Road School of Wallingford High School left for the Thanksgiving Holiday, the students and the staff got together and did the “Jean for Beans” Holiday food and can drive. Students were allowed to dress down and staff were allowed to wear jeans for every day that they brought two (2) nonperishables and canned food items. All of the donated food was packed up and brought to Master’s Manna. The canned food was then handed out to families in need in Wallingford and the surrounding towns to make their holidays that much brighter. The students enjoyed being able to help those in need and by giving back to their community.
