Students at High Road School of Wallingford High School created a Hall of Heroes as a way to remember the heroism displayed on September 11th. Students wrote about how they can be a hero in their community and designed their own hero emblem. A central hallway in the school was lined with all their heroic words to inspire students to stay positive and remember that even the smallest act can be heroic to anyone. Some students wrote about helping their parents, while others talked about volunteering in community outreach programs such as homeless shelters or soup kitchens. They all did a great job thinking of ways to solve problems in their communities and how small acts of heroism add up to making a big difference!
