Mrs. Mendoza, our new special education teacher, has taken on our culinary elective and our students are super excited! They are learning how to cook, bake, and make yummy treats in the kitchen. They are even learning new life skills when they are tasked to clean dishes, organize materials needed, and work together as a team. They have also utilized their math skill set to measure different ingredients and plan accordingly. We love culinary!
