The Big Buddy Program at Capital Academy started this week. Students in elementary school and high school get together on Wednesday afternoons to play games, catch up on work, practice reading, math, and just hang out together. The students that are involved in the program are students that have been doing well both academically and behaviorally. This a great opportunity for our younger students to have one-on-one time with an older student. Our hope for the program is that the older students will become the role models for the younger students, and they can form a positive relationship with each other.
