Students at High Road School of Wallingford Primary/Middle participated in a Pajama Day to raise funds for children with cancer. Since 2011, Connecticut business, schools, and families have participated in this fundraiser raising over 630,000 for children with cancer. High Road Schools have participated for the last 4 years. Students were able to donate funds from their school store accounts or bring money in. Many students and staff wore their pajamas in support of children who are often in their pajamas all day long. In order to participate, students were asked to donate $1 from their funds, but many students chose to donate even more. In total, the school raised $58 to donate to this cause. Way to go students and staff for a great event and for giving back to your community!
