Adaptations are a hit during science time! DES students learned about birds of different species that use their beaks to pick up seeds and feed themselves. After learning the basics, everyone had the opportunity to experience what it’s like to have a “beak” via using different tools to pick up a variety of seeds and peanuts in the shell.
