The elementary class went to the zoo during the month of December. They visited the petting zoo and got to play with goats and sheep. They went to go to the baby nursery and visited a baby armadillo, they were amazed at how small it was. The reptile exhibit shared with them many snakes from our region as well as others and turtles of varying sizes. The end of the day their excitement grew as we entered the seal life aquarium and the students got to pet the sting rays. A class poll showed the favorite animals were alligators, giraffes and jaguars.
