Making Progress With Joshua

Joshua is a senior in our Upper Best Classroom. Josh has made great progress over the last month. He now raises hand and asks to go to the restroom, before Josh would have ran out of the room without asking. He has also made progress reducing maladaptive behaviors. Demetrius’ Tremendous Improvement

Demetrius is a Student who has maintained a POSITIVE Rating for the last 2 months. He is the HIGHEST Scorer for iReady Math in 4th Grade. Demetrius has shown TREMENDOUS improvement this year, both behaviorally and academically. WE are EXTREMELY proud of him and all that he is doing here at PATH Academy! ALL of the Teachers concur that Demetrius is by far our MOST improved student! Andrew’s Huge Accomplishment

Andrew Lopez met his exit criteria to return to his home school and has begun transitioning part time. Andrew's behavior has improved significantly and he has become a positive example and role model to his peers. Andrew Lopez is always willing to help all staff. Jayden’s Contagious Sense Of Humor

Jayden has been on blue all school year. Jayden has many admirable qualities as to why we chose him. For example, he spends almost all day in his general education class, with the exception of only two hours in our High Road room. He participates in specials with his gen ed. class and decided to eat lunch with his class as well. Concerning grades, Jayden is doing great and it’s uncommon that his gen. ed. teachers have a negative comment about his progress. Dustin’s Contributions

December’s Student of the Month is Dustin. Here in the High Road program at Snow Hill High School, Dustin has become a very big contributor in the overall success of both the program and peers themselves. Because of his success last school year, Dustin spends over 80% of his day in the general education. When he is in the High Road classroom, he helps his peers when needed and helps improve the overall environment of the classroom. Thomas’ Positive Presence

Thomas enrolled at HRA in September 2019, and he is currently in the 6th grade. Thomas expressed that he likes his teachers and that Art is his favorite class. He shared that he is excited to learn more challenging math concepts “so he can get better at it." Jayde’s Accomplishments

Jayden was selected for student of the month due to a complete turnaround in his behavior for the month of November. Jayden is currently Blue day 14 and is very motivated to apply for Gold level. He has done an awesome job helping his peers and increasing his time spent within the classroom setting to reach his goals. Jayden has typically remained on Red and Yellow within the school-wide model this year. What Jeremiah Is Most Proud Of

Jeremiah joined High Road School at the beginning of the year. Since he has joined us Jeremiah has maintained Blue or Green! Albert has been solid all the way around. He is always willing to help out with no hesitation. Albert also has a job as the cafe assistant for our coffee cart here at school. He is very dependable and great with his peers . He has really shown maturity and growth over the last month. He was chosen as student of the month because of his hard-work. Joden Always Has A Smile On His Face

If you think of a student who puts forth his best effort at all times, that student would be Joden. Joden is kind, helpful to peers, and has worked hard to maintain his color levels of blue and green. Even when tired, Joden takes his time to complete his journal and his work every day.
