PFC William Harris is a former High Road Academy student. He now works with the Howard County Police Department. A couple of weeks ago, PFC Harris gave a career presentation on law enforcement and public safety to all our upper school students. He discussed education requirements and qualifications, trainings, benefits, salary, and day-to-day experiences of a police officer. The students also had a chance to see his patrol car and a few of police officer equipment and accessories he carries. Officer Harris aimed to inspire the students with his career talk and he was successful with his goal.
