December 11th marked our second event of the Spelling Bee, but this time we went in competition with our White Marsh school. We had contenders from the Harford and Baltimore County school go head to head, in attempting to be named the Spelling Bee champion. This event was organized and successfully put on by Mrs. Ashley, yet again. Parents were invited to come watch their students compete against others. This time for the spelling bee we were able to have old contenders from last month and new contenders who earned for this month. Blue level students were able to spectate and cheer on their friends and peers while also enjoying raffles and prizes. While all participants earned prizes, the first place, second place, and third place winner received medals. Our third place winner was a student from the White Marsh school, Mitchel. The second place winner was Taylor, a student from our school. Tamari was the first place winner, and she represented High Road School of Harford County. We are so happy to have events like this to boost our students confidence and also give them a chance to see students from other schools.
