In Biology, students were introduced to the concept of photosynthesis. To see photosynthesis in action, students completed an experiment in which they examined the impact of light intensity on the rate of photosynthesis. The experiment is conducted by counting the number of oxygen bubbles produced by an Elodea clipping, either in bright light ordim light. After comparing the numbers, students found that more oxygen bubbles were produced when the plant was in bright light than when it was in dim light. This activity helped the students understand the concept much better.
